Mr. Whipp,
I honestly think that the bands do not work because in the second video when the man was pushing down on the guys arm it looked like they guybeing tested was pushing up. Also when he let go of his arm he pretty much flew the other way because he was pushing up against the other guy. In the first video, Shaq was the person saying that it works, but if you think about it, he could have been payed to say the things he did.
My hypothesis on the balance bands is that if we tested people in our school, it would give us a better idea on if it works or not. I would test my hypothesis by taking a few people from each grade and testing them to see if the Power Balance Band would work on them by making them take tests, of balance and flexibilty, and see if it woeks on people that couldnt have been told to say certain things or to do certain things.
Its neccessary tolook at both side before you form a hypothesis because if you just chose a side you wouldnt have information to back you up and so you get a good idea of what might actually happen when you test these bands on regular people, and see if they think it works or not. Looking at both sides is something you should do everytime before you make a hypothesis because you will get a better idea on what the topic is actually about. Always look at both side before you make a hypothesis.
